    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Schwebach has a deep passion for what he does, and it reflects in his lectures. His care for his students will show in their grade provided that they put in the hard work.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of his course were drawing pictures of power point slide diagrams such as the cellular respiration diagram. It helped me to understand the conceptual aspect of cellular biology throughout the class.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study the power point slides, go to class, and go to the oral review sessions.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fox is an amazing professor! She explains material very well and makes sure you understand everything before moving on. She's really funny too. Make sure you study for the exams because they can be tough!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from Dr. Fox as she explains material so well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for exams! She generally gives a really long study guide but its worth going over. Make sure to take detailed notes and actually pay attention to what she's saying.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was an amazing experience! Professor Schwebach interacted with his class and made going extremely interesting. If you study the materials he gives you, passing this class will be a breeze. I highly recommend this course for any aspiring biology majors.

    Course highlights:

This course went into depth on how organisms create and use energy. It is like high school biology but so much more. The most interesting part was learning more about the mitochondria. I can now tell people why it is the powerhouse of the cell instead of just repeating that tired old mantra!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The biggest things for this course ares to take extensive notes on the power points, read and know the examples the professor gives in class, go to the study sessions provided by the TAs, and go over the practice tests! It will make passing the exams an absolute breeze.
