    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Be prepared for a challenge, it is no walk in the park. You have to practice Java on your own if you plan to succeed in this course. The professors emphasize on the exams that they care about your problem solving ability more than you coding ability which is true. However, you need to know what code to use in certain scenarios.

    Course highlights:

I learned that programming is a very powerful tool and that I could think in ways to solve problems that I wouldn't have thought of before.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go to code.org or learn Java on your own before entering this course so it will be easier for you.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The most stressful class I have ever taken. Professor was great, but the way the program is designed is very poor.

    Course highlights:

To be honest, this class was so hard that it taught me life lessons. I had to mentally make a decision and become a programmer, cutting all my social life in order to succeed in the course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Before signing up for the course, have the mentality that you can really do it. Don't base your potential based off of what other students ambition was. Nothing is impossible. With effort and hard work this class can be done. All it takes is dedication, and that's with anything!
