    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a detailed course in the Western Arts, if you are interested, great course, if not, less so. Make sure you are interested.

    Course highlights:

Learned to pay attention to detail and focus on the differences instead of similarities.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

pay attention and take notes. Most of the test questions come from lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Most of the class is about mythologies and the way they are depicted in art. The majority of the class is story telling which is really interesting and intriguing to learn the similarities certain symbols have around the world.

    Course highlights:

One thing I clearly remember learning is that usually when a story of the sun god burning the world occurs it can be assumed that there was a drought that ravaged the society. Another thing we learned is the representation of snakes isn't always negative elsewhere in the world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest going to class because while the professor may post the notes online they are only photographs of artworks and he tells the content heavy stuff in class.
