    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very time consuming! Expect to spend at least an hour a day to review the lectures from class. the homework on connect is very long and requires a least 2 additional hours. the teacher for this course tries to make the material understandable however, you will need to read the book.

    Course highlights:

i got a basic understanding of the financial sheets, and i also learned about debits and credits. you will be using a lot of the calculator so make sure you have one.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

i would recommend that you set apart a good amount of time if you are taking this course alongside with other classes.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She makes things easier for her summer class and does her best to make it easy to understand the material. My advice it to use the learnsmart program to understand the material better. Also if you have any questions tutors on course hero are ready to help 24/7. Some other advice would be to write down what topics she says will be on the exam, She is very direct this way and what she says will be on there is on there in the way it was presented in class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to prepare a the four main financial statements and learned the purpose of financial accounting. I also learned how to make journal entries, prepare a bank reconciliation, and solve and underatand a variety of accounting related material.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study until you know what every account belongs to and what to do with the journal entries. Study for overall understanding because if you understand the questions it makes answering them way easier. Make sure you know all the vocabulary and be familiar with the various synonyms that are involved with accounting.
