    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you never had accounting don't be fooled it's a brain twister. It will take true dedication and a good sense of humor to make it through. I recommend this course for those who want to grasp accounting and to see if they really understand the true meaning of business and finance principles. I would not go into it with the assumption of thinking it will only take a lot of studying but a mastery of the accounting language as well.

    Course highlights:

LIFO and FIFO accounting principles. I learned that straight line accounting principles for keeping track of inventory are what businesses use on a daily basis. I also learned a great wealth of accounting terms such as balance sheets, trial balances, and much, much more.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Please be prepared to give a lot of time to studying and remembering the principles and be patient, ask questions and don't get behind in your reading.
