    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Mrs. Cash as a professor if you take English 121. She doesn't grade super tough and makes every essay assignment clear- she wants students to succeed. Her classroom is a very friendly environment, and the use of Blackboard makes it easier to talk to classmates outside of class. She will also help you individually if you need it!

    Course highlights:

In English 121 we learned how to utilize summary, paraphrase, and quotations within an essay. We made our own spin offs of fairy tales for one of the essays, wrote about communication in our daily lives for another. The last essay was the Research Project which was a bit more intense- using professional sources and creating an annotated bibliography.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take notes in class- it can help you construct your essays, and learn what to avoid in your writing. Outside of class will require additional writing separate from the essays (response papers). 1-2 response papers per week are normal. Heavy studying isn't really necessary because there are no tests, so put most your effort into the essays. If you follow the instructions and try your best, you should be able to pass without any trouble.
