    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Take this class!! Be open minded and attempt to really understand others. It's a great introduction to gender, sex and race. This course has helped me in so many others as it builds a memorable and broad foundation to feminisms, queer theory and race.

    Course highlights:

We were able to analyze the way gender, sex and race intersect in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open minded! You can't truly form an opinion without genuinely every angle of an argument. The more open you are the more rewarding this class will be! It's a great experience and gives an amazing gauge to gender and sex in our sociopolitical sphere.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor King was a very engaging professor that came off as genuinely interested in philosophy and clearly conveyed that enthusiasm. It easily wore off on me and led to me easily grasping the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned many different philosophical theories on a variety of topics such as theology, ethics, and free will. My favorite part of the course was the arguments of what counts as a conscious being and what does not.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, students must pay attention to the lecture and do the readings assigned out of class. I would also highly recommend taking notes on the lecture.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning about the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence of the world. This professor has a nice sense of humor, he also makes sure that you understand the topics that he discusses to you about the aspects of the world.

    Course highlights:

I learned that knowledge is a justified true belief and philosophers like Immanuel Kant would argue that you can only gain knowledge through experiences. Also simple ideas are known through experience, therefore we gain knowledge through our experiences. If two people were standing outside of a lock door and one person says “I have the key I know it’s the correct key because I have tested it in the lock before and It works to open up the door.” and then the other person says “I have a key too. I have never tried to open the lock with it but I know it will work because I have a gut feeling about it.” The second person's key might end up working but you’d feel more comfortable with the first person key because it has been tested. Testing and experience are known to be the only way we can know something is legitimately true.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To be success in this class all you need to do is take notes, pay attention, and definitely read out of the philosophy book that is provided with this course and you are guarantee to walk out of this class with a different aspect about things in life such as knowledge, reality, and existence of the world.
