Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a very engaging class and the professor taught it in a way that kept us interested and attentive despite the long hours. She also provided detailed instructions that really helped us to do our assignments and projects well. There were some easy coding exercises and we also learned about computer technicality. It was a really fun course!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do basic coding which was really fun and interesting. I made a website through HTML coding and I felt really accomplished after I was done with the project even though my website was simple and minimalist. Furthermore, I also learned more about computers and how to use its many different features. Overall, I learned a lot in this class and I definitely encourage people to take it!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course if you are interested in learning more about coding and computers without delving into overly complicated material. This class covers each topic and lesson well and leaves you with a feeling of accomplishment, especially if you are not as technologically advanced like me.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

While this class was pretty simple- its great for those who need their math credit but struggle with math. I think its great for education majors to make sure they have a basic set of computer skills.

    Course highlights:

You get to experiment with all sorts of things including web design, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the many projects, and utilize class time effectively. You don't want to procrastinate in this class- especially on the website project!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned how to code using HTML and CSS in order to create a website and I worked in a group to complete a Common Craft Style Video on Local Area Networks. Learning how to program in Scratch and animating my name was also a fun experience.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was the Network project, even if you aren't an artist it was fun to write a script and create a video featuring an example of a network problem (even a fictional scenario like the dangers of a satellite connection in a zombie apocalypse).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to complete small assignments like the Scratch animation in advance since they take time to put together and talk to the professor when you are struggling like if you don't have any ideas for your Website with Purpose.
