Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

fairly easy course but the teacher is not good at teaching (just reads off the slides)

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the problem sets because that is where you learned most (besides the book)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to definitely read the slides/sometimes the book if needed. There is always one or two questions on the test that our from the examples on her slide

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher made it fun and fast-paced while still thoroughly teaching the material and preparing us for the final.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight was when we played games that demonstrated economic principals. I learned the fundamentals of macroeconomics, including supply and demand, distribution of resources, and foreign trade and relationships.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study, take notes, read the text book, and to use the web for study aids.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Take this class with Prof. Ogawa. He explains all the concepts very well and is easy going. He cares about his students. Don't be hesitant to go into office hours.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the main topics in microeconomics, basically supply and demand, and game theory.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course if you are unsure if you want to major in Economics. It is a great introductory course.
