    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class because I have learned more about writing in this class, than all of my high school English classes combined. Dr. White is a great professor and really cares about her student's success.

    Course highlights:

From this class, I learned that the writing process is much longer than I had originally thought. When writing an essay, it is best to revisit the writing multiple times. It will allow your thoughts to rest and generate new ideas, as well. Revisiting multiple times will ensure for a better writing and reading experience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take Dr. White's advice from the start! Do not wait until the last minute to write your papers. If you do what she says you will get a good grade in the class. Also, keep up with your journals and log entries. It will be hard to keep up with them, but it will be harder to do them the night before.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Mishra conducts his course in a very free-flowing way that promotes creative thinking. The course objectives are easy to identify and it is difficult to get lost in the class. I have fun learning how to become more persuasive in my everyday life.

    Course highlights:

I have learned how to improve m essay writing, speaking, and persuasive abilities by taking this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep on top of the homework because it directly relates to the essays that come after. Understand the content of the articles given to read and ask questions if you get lost or need help.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because students come out a stronger, more details- oriented writers. This course helps students develop their "voices" on the page and take their readers' experiences into consideration.

    Course highlights:

One of the biggest lessons I took away from this course was that details matter. From the way the words are presented on the page, right down the to the word choice in each individual sentence.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give students considering this course is to stay on top of the reading. While it may be a lot at times, the professor has you best interests at heart.
