    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Bartee was one of my first teachers in college. He ordered his class in a dynamic way that involved shy people in a way that they were comfortable with, and gave those with more presence an environment to hone their skills. The relationships made in that class will be lifelong!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to prepare a coherent and captivating presentation, something that I had to have for almost all my subsequent semesters, and that I'm sure will be necessary for most careers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

if it's humanly possible, take the course from professor Bartee and no other. He really was what made it a great learning experience. Also, focus less on the crowd and more on the content. Your jokes and pandering won't matter to anyone more than the execution of your argument and the integrity of the information.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it has improved my public speaking skills and communication in general.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were getting to learn how to write a proper speech on my own. I was able to learn how to correctly express my ideas and thoughts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you have to be ready to put time into it when the assignments arrive. You have to patiently write and plan the different speeches in order for them to be fluent.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Bartee understands speech to a T and will help you adjust your own voice to match the body you inhabit! Worth every syllable!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to articulate and express the words i wanted to say and achieve the level of explanation that can keep a conversation lively and myself from detracting or losing focus at any one time. The best highlight of all would be when you present your speeches up in front and show everyone how hard you have been working every day! Stage fright turns into limelight by the time you finish.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be yourself. It will only help you more in this course if you allow your natural self to adjust and grow along with the classes lectures and assignments because they push you to open up and speak about how you feel overall. A study tip is of course to practice your speech! Get in tune with your inner self and blossom!
