Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This Microbiology course was a combined lecture and lab course. The lab portion was an interesting look into how microbes, diseases, and invisible life forms can effect our every day lives in ways that we would never think of. It let you apply what you learned in lecture and see it appear, grow, and mutate in front of your eyes.

    Course highlights:

We learned about all kinds of bacteria, microbes, diseases, and procedures. We learned differential screening forms, ways to identify classes of bacteria, how to perform disease tests, urine screenings, ultraviolet radiation mutation, and a handful of other experiments that were uniquely available in a Microbiology lab.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It's not an easy course, but you can do very well if you study and most of all TAKE NOTES during lab! He will not repeat information, and you'll grow tired of copying notes from a lab partner (and so will they). Study slides and learn how to visually remember information as opposed to only reading about it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although it covered a lot of content, class was very informative and well structured. The labs were always well supervised and safety was the number one priority.

    Course highlights:

I mostly enjoyed the labs because it gave us time to work on our own, with the guidance of the professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for and do well of the chapter tests so that it will be easier to review for the final.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She was all over the place, and didn't make any sense. She was a very nice woman, but she doesn't teach. She's also very strict.

    Course highlights:

My classmates made it easier. So if you have her get in study groups, and you will pass.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take it, if you do put your time in and make friends to study with.
