Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is Drawing 1, and yet the majority of projects are very large mixed media. If you're anything like me and take pride in your art, it can take you a while to complete his projects, so finishing projects on time can be difficult. Also, going to class feels like a waste of time because you spend very little time learning how to draw, and the majority of the time listening to the professor ramble on about completely unrelated subjects.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are being able to come up with your own concept for your art based on the topics he gives you for the projects.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this course with this professor if you want to actually learn how to draw.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a good class to take, however this teacher tends to talk about himself a lot. When showing examples he goes on about his art work and many years ago, how famous he is etc.

    Course highlights:

He does push you to your best ability

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You only use Graphite Pencils and color pencils as media so his supplies weren't that much

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor is very insightful and teaches the class on how the art world works and how to be a successful artist. He is very philosophical about our world and explains the reality of it.

    Course highlights:

What I learned from this class are different techniques of drawing such as different perspectives from the human eye, and using geographical shapes to help draw an object.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to have an open mind and be prepared to write everything down for homework assignments. Always ask the instructor for specifications.
