Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very engaging class! Dr. Leon applies the textbook material to his lectures and includes short video clips to make class more interesting. Students are required to participate in outside research experiments, and while it may seem like a lot of work, but it's really not and was pretty interesting!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about basic psychological concepts like the id, ego, superego, Freudian theories of development, and mental disorders. I also learned about different forms of therapy such as CBT, psychotherapy and behavioral therapy.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For success in this course, it is vital to attend the lectures and write down notes. Dr. Leon's exams cover most of the topics he presents in lecture versus the textbook readings. It is more important to take notes on the powerpoints for success in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology is an intriguing class that can easily be related to every day life. It is very easy to relate it to yourself and to people you know.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course, you learn about how the mind works and why our body can respond in certain ways. You will learn about the parts of the brain and what parts serve what functions. The best part was being able to understand your body in a more thorough way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study throughout the entire course. There is no way you will be able to learn all the material in one day. Also, apply the learned material to your life or someone else's, it makes it much easier to remember.
