    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in pursuing the field of psychology. Abnormal Psych presented me with a wide variety of disorders that are in the DSM-5. If your just looking for a course to interest you, this will do the trick but be prepared it is not the easiest course.

    Course highlights:

I gained a knowledge of how to diagnose patients with mental disorders. I am able to write a case history and apply the correct diagnoses to the T. I am now aware what people with these disorders have to go through on an every day basis and what they can do to help better the quality of their lives. I know what medications can do what and when to use techniques other than medication.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to go in this class knowing they are going to have to put time and effort if they want to get the full capacity of knowledge their is to take from this course. Be open minded of people with disorders as they live different lives than we do. You will find it to be fun and challenging and well worth your money.
