I love that it double dips as an Interdepartmental AND History course. Double dipping frees up space on the course evaluation for more flexibility.
I loved learning about the Irish history. The professor's lectures are really engaging. His guidance on the required semester paper is a little light though. You will have to ask him personally for specific feedback because he doesn't give it to you initially on the first draft.

Record the lectures. Take notes in class then listen to the lectures again to fill in the information missed. It's an all lecture course. There is no textbook. So, don't miss class.
