    Course Overview:

    UMD is a campus full of energy and opportunity. The people are the best part of College Park. I love the College Park Scholars Program; living learning communities are a great way to make a large campus seem smaller.

    Course highlights:

    Public Leadership Scholars is a big family, and it's wonderful to work alongside so many ambitious people.The campus could use more updates to make it safer and provide more shops and restaurant options.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Maryland was my top choice as a great public in-state school. I wanted the city life, with lots of sports and extra curriculars that I could get involved in. The cherry on top is that UMD has great academic programs, and is geographically advantageous.
