Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. White is an amazing professor. She wholly understands what she is talking about, and she puts real-world ideas and theories into perspective through walking us through analyzing two very impactful books. The books for the course are easy to read, and also more than interesting. Overall, genuinely great class.

    Course highlights:

This course really allowed me to understand the holes in the juvenile justice system as it stands in America, and the criminal justice system as a whole at that. It opened my eyes to a number of issues that I was never aware of, and allowed me to understand the role that certain key court cases have played in the shaping of our justice system.

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! For the quizzes, while they are primarily based on the novels we read, the textbook provides the backbone for the concepts that are completely applicable to the quizzes and the novels. It's a really helpful textbook.
