Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Norris is a lovely professor who is genuinely interested and invested in her students. She is so fast at processing and directing conversations that it is nearly impossible to get far off track in her class. So can easily weave and draw out questions and answers that you are trying to articulate but cannot seem to.

    Course highlights:

One can learn a lot in Dr. Norris' class on being a community and listening. There is no professor if you need someone to talk to and to guide you through the steps of community life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dr. Norris may give challenging assignments but you will be better for it. You will learn a lot about yourself and the others around you. By the end of the class you will have learned to get along with people you may never have been close with ever.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class really allows you to strengthen your relationship with God in practical ways. It pushes you to dig deeper into the Bible and helps you to grasp God's unfailing love and commitment to you.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the Spiritual Disciplines and discipleship. I learned the importance of a Christian community that will help me through hard times. Overall, this class really allowed me to push myself and try different forms of disciplines that I hadn't before (such as fasting and solitude). It truly was a great class for faith growth.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. Also, don't treat it like a class. Treat it as a guideline for your spiritual walk. If you do that, then it will be easier for you to complete it because you realize that it's for your personal gain to do so.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Spiritual Life and Community is all about improving ones own walk with Christ and how to strengthen other's walk with Christ. This is absolutely one of the best courses someone can take. This course doesn't just teach one about facts and history but is revolutionary to ones life.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the focus on relationships. At the beginning of the year, we were put together with a "mentor" (someone that is walking the same path as me) and built a relationship with them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This isn't just a course designed to teach facts but to teach one how to live more like Christ. The course will convict you of weak spots in your life and teach you how to strengthen them. I would highly recommend this class to everyone who wants to live a good life.
