    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

You will get to learn different perspectives on New Testament Books.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was when we were required to read commentaries and the whole New Testament Books. It was helpful to understand the course. It was really rough to do those assignments, but I think it was worth to do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

First of all is to look at study guide regularly, since there were quiz every single week. You need to keep up well with the readings, since there are lots of readings in this course. the tests and assignments are not super hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would, overall, recommend this course. There is a lot of work involved, and I would not typically like the approach, but it was helpful in learning a new way to read the New Testament through themes.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn the different time-periods, whereas before I knew nothing. Through repetition of signs and key-words at the beginning of the course, I was able to follow along really well later in the course when we started to slowly go over each event.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it with an open mind to learn, and you'll really gain from this class! Dr. Marty has a lot of wisdom and is typically quite nuanced, allowing the students to make an educated decision on what they learn and how to apply it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Marty is a great professor who is very knowledgeable about the New Testament. He is interesting and funny and make the class relevant to Christian life.

    Course highlights:

Reading through the New Testament twice throughout the semester is definitely a challenge but one that is worth taking. Reading and learning the New Testament for yourself rather than having someone tells you what to believe was certainly a big learning step I have taken.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read your New Testament regularly. I have seen students who try to cram all the reading last week of the class. This is not only not wise because you will have other assignments to finish, but also you won't get much out of the reading.
