Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is great professor that gives a wide range of information without confusing someone with minimal knowledge of the subject.

    Course highlights:

I thoroughly enjoyed the labs because she always let us expand and explore. She did not limit our interests or concerns.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book as much as possible and take notes during lecture. Most of all enjoy the course. Enjoy the cool things you will do and see in the lab. Don't be afraid to ask questions or further expand your interests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Mungre is very knowledgable and always knew what she was talking about during the semester. If students didn't understand a certain topic of the lecture she wouldn't hesitate to present the topic in a different way to make us understand it better. She's a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I definitely have a lot more knowledge on how DNA & RNA differ. The process of chromosomes during mitosis and meiosis. Also how enzymes work. The different experiments that were done by people like Hershey and Chase to find out if DNA or protein was the genetic material while using viruses. There are many more great topics that were taught throughout the semester.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to not procrastinate when it comes to doing the assignments. Definitely study for the quizzes that are given every week because it's a lot of material covered in one chapter and the quizzes are not that easy. If you need extra help ask the teacher, she is willing to help out.
