Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I needed to take this class for my Industrial Engineering major. It was very interesting but the material could be dense sometimes. I specifically enjoyed the real world applications of the curriculum. Consists of one midterm, a final, weekly problem sets and labs, and a final group project.
Provides excellent basis for optimization in the consulting, business and banking worlds. Even if you're not planning on using optimization techniques in the workplace it is still great experience, exposure and for talking about at interviews.

Advice for students:
Keep up with work as the material gets quite difficult towards the end. Attend all lab sessions and lectures; it is very hard to understand the material just based off of the uploaded notes. I would also recommend attending as many Office Hours as possible.
