    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

As someone who is just utterly terrified of public speaking before an audience, speech class with Mr. Frisco might have completely turned that around for me. More specifically, it's his class that I find myself being able to relax in and looking forward to, which is quite ironic considering I thought I would dread this course over the duration of this semester. Mr. Frisco is just hilarious and has this great sense of humor and enthusiasm for the class that is infectious and makes his students feel really comfortable and OK about feeling anxious before speech-giving. Explains things and material detailed and well, too. Great overall environment and teacher!

    Course highlights:

Oh man, there were plenty in our class, and I'm sure Mr. Frisco will help create new highlights with his future students as well. Well, for one, he organizes all these activities that are to help students shake off *literally* their nerves before any presentations, which actually do a good job of relaxing ourselves and feeling a bit better. I suppose I learned more in-depth about the many different specific components and factors that go into creating and delivering an effective speech. I always admired the informational feedback or advice he would give to you after speeches, while being positive towards how you could improve.

    Advice for students:

If you are bundle of nerves whenever you think about the idea of giving a speech, but know that you have to take a speech class, take SPE 103 with Frisco! Don't be scared, I really don't think you'll regret it--he's really quite understanding about how nervous his students might be and that you might not be perfect the first time around speaking. Not to mention, his humor and enthusiasm can be a little over the top sometimes, but hey, nothing's probably better than that to ease up a speech class! ;) Overall, I really recommend taking his class!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I have had no problems with scheduling my classes or getting my credits transferred.
