Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I definitely came into this course thinking it would be a very heavy and dense one. However, Professor Ash is an angel who is very passionate, educated, and well diverse in issues pertaining to the world today. She makes an effort to get the class engaged as well as student success. I really recommend this course for those who are interested in learning about some of the major religions in the world.
Because it was only a semester long course, we didn't go too in-depth into each religion. We focused on the major religions of the world and spent at least two weeks on each of them. Discussion in class, outside reading, and watching a movie pertaining to each religion -- the course required us to understand the history and culture within religion. This course focused on Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and Judaism and so I gained a better knowledge and understanding of these religions and the culture.

Advice for students:
It is not a very hard course, but it does very much require individual effort outside of the classroom to read the materials Professor Ash posts as well as taking notes in class during discussion. The quizzes and assignments (which are all essays) reflect on these discussions as well as the movies that we watch -- so you definitely have to give your entire focus during class.
