Pretty easy, overall.
I think this is a great introductory class to the subject of sociology. You get introduced to the basic concepts and perspectives, along with their various theories and explanations to different social phenomenons. The class is fairly easy (although I have, personally, taken a sociology class previously in high school) and interesting.
There were times when we would discuss some of the different sociological concepts we learned in class and get really into them. It would make us think about the things and/or problems that we've currently observed in our U.S. society or world on a deeper level. Most of it was quite eye-opening actually.

Advice for students:
The textbook is really good at explaining all the perspectives/concepts, and I recommend you look over its chapter reviews located at the end of each chapter. They have all the new terms with their definitions as well as the main points/ideas/sociologists included. Doing well on the 3 main tests and 2 papers should get you that A, if you put some effort into the class.
