    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it allows you to come out of your shell and be able to share things with others in different environments and learn speech etiquette.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that we were able to write and speak about whatever we wished, rather than being given a topic.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say make sure to get all the quizzes and outlines done before each due date, rather than waiting till the last minute.

    Course Overview:

This is a general education course that is required by all undergraduate students. The professor that teaches this class truly cares about her students and wants all of them to succeed. Professor Kerns makes this class related to all students with varying majors and lectures over why we need to develop excellent public speaking skills.

    Course highlights:

I gained the importance of public speaking and I learned how to interpret it into my life. This class made me realize that all general education classes develops a person to becoming a more well rounded individual.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to relate everything you are learning to the major you are studying. This will help create more ambition to succeed in your classes. Taking public speaking specifically, it is best to learn how to manage your time well because large assignments tend to creep out on you. Also, preparing a speech 1 week before the speech date is important to obtain optimal performance.
