Pretty easy, overall.
I would recommend taking this class for many reasons. To narrow them down to just a few, I would say Dr. Allen has a real thorough knowledge on physics. He loves to talk about his past work experiences and relate them to the examples and problems in the textbook. This made physics more applicable to us, or at least to me, after college in the workplace. Also, the actual material in the textbook is not very difficult, just detailed and needs to be done a certain way to have the correct outcome. Lastly, Dr. Allen is willing to answer question on the homework during class so that if you have the same question as someone else, it can be answered at the same time during class.
Looking back on my time in this course, I learned my basis for engineering from a physical aspect. The equation and mathematical processes that I learned in this class help me currently with my major courses. I am very thankful to have learned under Dr. Allen because of the time he took to teach us the material, not just test us on what we read about.

Advice for students:
When taking this course, stay on top of the homework assignments. He does accept late homework, but it will not help you in the long run for the tests. Also, ask questions! Don't hesitate to say that you don't know something because Dr. Allen loves to help. He will not make you feel bad about not knowing something.
