    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to the not-so-average student. This Chemistry class is extremely tough but also very insightful. The class educates oneself on different formulas, elements, and also experiments. The experiments in this course on done online through a gizmo website which provides every aspect of an experiment one would need!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the chemistry course was the experiments I performed using different potions. I was intrigued by the way the different elements reacted being put together. During the course I learned about the Table of Elements and how the elements, when placed in certain conditions, reacted.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Fellow students, when considering this class make sure you know that this course requires many hours a week in order to be successful. This is a class with an infinity amount of information that requires experiments and other forms of scientific methods. Chemistry is a tough course in itself, but add honors to the title and the course requires much more work. Even though it might sound like a negative experience, this course provides you with so much information that will be very useful to you if you are considering going into medicine or other types of scientific jobs!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I used the textbook Exploring Creation with Biology. It was very informative and detailed, it walked you through the problems, then had you solve some on your own.

    Course highlights:

I learned common definitions in Biology, and I learned how to organize them so I could memorize them. My book also foreshadowed subjects I'd learn in Chemistry and Anatomy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know what pace you need in order to learn. The book itself was fast paced, but you can always choose to slow it down to your preference.
