    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

A very demanding course, it pushed many of us to our limits in terms of rhetorical analysis and critical thinking. Nevertheless, the work was very rewarding as we quickly saw improvements in our writing and analytical abilities.

    Course highlights:

Reading the Allegory of the Cave while walking down by the lake near our school was a fascinating experience. Reading the text aloud and deciphering the meaning of the allegory was very memorable, and I was very intrigued by the ideas about education and its necessity for achieving self-governance and a highly functional society.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

We should daunting at first, but immersing oneself in the text and rhetorical analysis makes it easier over time. It truly takes practice and hard work. Although this is a high school class and I did not understand this application to be for collegiate students.
