    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a mandatory class that I had to take but the course was very enjoyable and helped me think about future career paths. It also lead me to take Chemistry II Honors this year.

    Course highlights:

I loved when we were learning about moles, my teacher did activities that were fun pertaining to the topic at hand. I learned a lot that I still keep with me to this day. I learned about Molarity and Molality and Avogadro's Number and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to study. It is an easy class if you put the effort in and try hard. This way you will be able to grasp the concepts and understand the topic you are learning.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a challenging, yet rewarding course. You truly dive into chemistry, while pushing yourself beyond what you expected to achieve. It thought me to never back down from any challenge.

    Course highlights:

I loved the "Unknowns" lab! It was so interesting to do experiments in order to discover what compound I was assigned. While it was challenging, it taught me to look at a situation from several different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Organize! Organize! Organize! Study! Study! Study! AND PAY ATTENTION! Just devote yourself to doing the best that you can and don't get discouraged when you don't do as well as you think you should have done.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It feels a little slower than it should be going, but you have to look at chem like a math class or else you will have trouble understanding things. Looking at it like that is the best way to get through this class.

    Course highlights:

Best parts are definitely lab experiments as they are entertaining, but through that entertainment they mask their testing of our knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just don't be scared of all the symbols and big terms they use, because on a nutshell it ended up being just a lot of math
