    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Jason Hose is a brilliant instructor. He makes the student embark on the culture behind the art aside from just the elements that make it up. Through fun films, simple lectures, and a visit to the Dallas Museum of Art, his class is easily one of the best to take at Richland Community College.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to look at piece of art and appreciate the value behind why it was made; in addition, I learned to see the story an artist tries to tell through his or her work. How the context and content of certain works make it all the more valuable to the time it was made.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

All of his homework is posted online. You do have to purchase an access code; however, it is all available to you. From the first to the last homework; so you could potentially finish the course in a month or less if you had the time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was entirely online, and is more of a self taught class. If you are able to be responsible for your own grade/learning then this class is for you.

    Course highlights:

Learned art history, art methods, etc. There were several group projects throughout the course and quizzes each week.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this course if you are able to keep up with weekly assignments online. If you are not responsible and don't work well with self-taught classes, do not take this course.
