    | Would recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I liked the way the class was connected. The professor is really good in sharing the ide and helping students understand the concept. He was really helpful plus the final project helps students to capture the essence of the entire class.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course is the final design project. Students will be required t design a joint structure which is capable of holding a weight. This project will require students to implement everything they have learnt in the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take your time and work on the homework question they are essential to get a good grade and understand the course.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I would strongly recommend it because it lays down the foundations for mechanics of materials (this is for future Mechanical Engineering majors).

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to describe the major types of forces and force systems; prepare and sketch force vector diagrams or other geometrical illustrations; and solve problems involving vectors, forces, friction, moments, centroids, and moments of inertia.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Stay on top of the course material because most of it will be new to you. Do not feel overwhelmed by the topics, it usually takes some time to fully have a good grasp of it!
