Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to absolutely everyone! Such an awesome course and experience that I absolutely loved. Dr. Quierk is one of the best teachers I have ever had and is also quite funny.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included gaining in depth knowledge about our countries history as well as reading and reviewing interesting and thought provoking books.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take dilligent notes and come to class as attendance is taken for a grade. Pay attention to everything Dr. Quierk says will be on the test and write well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Quirk is the best professor at RVC. He is very knowledgeable as a History professor and he is very likable and funny. He is a very approachable person and will gladly help anyone if they have questions or concerns.

    Course highlights:

Most history classes are just remembering names and dates, names and dates, and that's all. You write them all down and then read them over and over again for a test and then once the test is over you forget them all. The professor really makes the history come alive and gives everything a background or a backstory. He makes it feel as if you were there and experiencing everything will the people you are talking about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take very good notes. The professor takes all his test questions from notes. If he doesn't talk about it, it won't be on the exam. There are no surprises and he gives you most of the formats for the essays ahead of time so you can prepare accordingly.
