    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is required so most(including myself) were not excited to take it, but this professor makes it fun and assigns very interesting articles.

    Course highlights:

I'm not big into the social justice scene and can be very cynical when it comes to this sort of stuff, but this course has in some ways shown me how the world can change for the better. This course overall made me a little less cynical.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the journal assignments, show up to class ON TIME, and participate in class. The discussions are very eye opening and it's great to be in them and get people's viewpoints.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it helps you to feel more comfortable with your writing and gives you the necessary tools to organize our ideas or opinions efficiently.

    Course highlights:

What I gained from taking this course is to be a better writer. Being bilingual I had to learn how to express myself, my opinions and ideas in a language different from the one I am used to speaking since birth. Certainly, I have gained more confidence in my writing by taking this class. Also, I have learned how to use external sources to help me express my opinion regarding a particular issue or concern.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

What you need to do to succeed in this class is to write, rewrite and write again. Ask questions, take notes and follow your professor's recommendations.
