    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Awesome teacher that impacts one's view on our government and economic system by constantly asking will you be part of the problem or solution ? Everyday we face problems as a country, it's time we make a change.

    Course highlights:

I learned that one must be open-minded and prepared with knowledge (in orderto make their voice be heard.) You either die for something or live for nothing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will definitely love this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Wonderful teacher. Pushes you to actually think about econ rather than giving you all the answers. Very smart as well (he was a lawyer). He definitely doesn't believe in low self-esteem so be ready for some jokes about cocky high school students!

    Course highlights:

I think the best part was definitely developmental economics. It not only made us more aware of our current living situations and how they compare to that of others in less developed countries, but also required us to apply all the topics we had learned that year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I did well the first trimester, but I did much better in the second trimester because I started to adapt my writing to how Mr. Balthrop said would get us the most points on our IB papers. Balthrop Tip: listen.
