Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Punske is very relatable to students and makes learning about language fun and engaging if you pay attention. Also, is it exceedingly easy to do well because he structures to course to allow everyone a chance to boost their grade if they are poor test-takers.

    Course highlights:

You will learn a wide array of linguistics topics because this is the introductory course to the Linguistics major. Taking Psychology at some point will be very helpful to understanding some of the concepts in the class, but is overall very doable for all students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While attendance is not graded, it is important that yo show up to the lectures because the tests given are almost verbatim what Dr. Punske discusses in lecture.
