Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because even if you aren't too much of a writer or into creative writing, you're going to learn so much as far as creativity and the art behind fiction. I myself, am personally a writer and I indulge in my fair of short stories there was still certain objectives I didn't know and learned from this class. Also it's such a great way to engage with other students and dig a little into their creative thinking and upcoming talent of being a fiction writer. The discussions are very open ended and minded and there's never a wrong statement or answer. I felt like I could be myself in this class and everyone was very nice and nonjudgmental.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was being able to come up with our own short stories and share them with the class. I learned a lot as far as critical thinking and creativity and how it works with different people. It also gave me an opportunity to improve my writing as critique and praise came hand in hand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Never be afraid to try. Even if you aren't the best writer, I promise someone's going to enjoy your work. This class isn't just about writing and reading, it's about expressing and finding your creativity beyond what you're used to doing. I would say go into this course willing to learn and strengthen your creative knowledge and you'll leave highly satisfied.
