Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Its totally necessary to take grade 9 French in Canada, since you have to go through it anyway, might as well learn properly. I took French again in Grade 10 because my grade 9 experience was pretty good. IT WAS A TOTAL BLAST. I hope people start liking learning new languages. If you don't like French, take Spanish, its a very cool language (sounds a little weird but totally cool). Hope everyone has a nice year coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Course highlights:

I learned A LOT. More than I imagined. The most hardest part of this course was to actually learn new rule for ER, IR, RE. That part sucked, otherwise, it was good. The new things that I learned were conjunction, francophone's, futur simple, passe compose (irregular/regular verbs and direct/indirect objects). We also used adjectives to describe a friend, making paragraphs, we also studied reflexive verbs, I found that part very informative. Grade 9 was also easy because you had to explain things about yourself (eg, hobbies, music). Which made it easier because it was just basic stuff. Last but not least, you're to read different stories in French, sometimes translate them, or even play those character!!!!!!! It was all fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To be honest, I gained more than I expected. Like every other high school student I thought that French was pretty boring. However, my perspective totally changed after just first week of French classes. I totally give the credit to my school and my best teacher ever!!!! Due to her, I truly understood how important it is to try new things before assuming that they are boring or not fit for you. So my advice to not only grade 9's but everyone is that "don't judge a book buy its cover"' because when you grow up you'll regret not taking French. It really is a great language!!!!!!!! Best of luck everyone!
