Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Arnold is super funny! His teaching style is unique and he has a joke for almost every part of lecture. I found it easy to remember the material come test day because everything was paired with a silly class memory.

    Course highlights:

We were taught that "history often shapes geography", so one of the most interesting parts of the course was learning all the history behind nations worldwide. Most of the history was fairly modern, as well. I learned more about the Soviet Union and east Asia in this course than I had in any other history class prior. We were also taught about climates, world weather patterns, and how rain forms. If you enjoy learning about other cultures this is a class for you.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait until the night before to study for the map tests. I spent about five minutes every night going over the list of all the countries and features to memorize for the test. If you give yourself plenty of time beforehand to memorize the places, you'll do fine on the map tests.
