    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is good for building a strong foundation, however this professor is not recommended at all. He is rude and does not care--I have had many issues with him and would highly recommend staying as far away from him as possible.

    Course highlights:

The course really reiterated what we learned in high school, but it also added a few more twists that helped prepare us for future math. I appreciated the review along with the new information.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and go to the Success Center as well as build relationships with your classmates, because you won't learn much from the professor.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This teacher made this math course my favorite class I have ever taken. He explained things simplistically without making me feel stupid.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight was definitely the teacher. I learned all of the information thoroughly and received an easy A.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just put the time into homework and a little studying and you will do well.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course in order to fulfill my general education requirements. I'm not really a math person, and the instructor was not someone I learned from well. I was able to pass but it was because I put in so much time studying on my own.

    Course highlights:

I built on my knowledge of algebra and also learned some study techniques.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE HOMEWORK. That's where my instructor took almost all the test problems from. It also helped me understand the concepts. Take note of which equations you need to memorize, and don't procrastinate on making flashcards and drilling them.
