    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this coarse to any nursing student because as a nurse you need to become familiar with drugs and how they effect the human body. This coarse will definitely help you become familiar with a wide variety of drugs.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course was when I went to clinical and was able to administer drugs that I learned about to patients. I learned that you can read about drugs and learn the side effects and/or adverse effects and the patient may experience effects other than what you read about. It also becomes more important that you know about the drugs you are administering because you are dealing with a real human life.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell a student considering this course to definitely invest in a lot of flashcards. FLASHCARDS will be your best friend because you will have a lot of drugs to remember in a short amount of time. Also, learning the drugs will become easier once you know the physiology of the bodily systems.
