    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course, Bible 101: Introduction to the Old Testament, is a required course for Eastern University students. Taking this course with Dr. Enns was an enjoyable experience. I would recommend him as a professor to anyone taking Bible or theology courses at Eastern.

    Course highlights:

This course opened my eyes to different aspects of the Bible that I never would have thought about before. Dr. Enns helped me to think about Biblical interpretation differently. I learned so much about the Bible that I would not have expected from a general education course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking this course with other professors may have a heavy workload but Dr. Enns understood that not everyone is passionate about the Bible, so he didn't make the course heavy. It is an easy course and all of his tests/quizzes are open note. Listen to what he says in class, print out his PowerPoint slides, and you'll be fine.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I think Dr. Bletsch is extremely educated on the subject of the bible, and taught it well.

    Course highlights:

He embraced that all of us came from different places in biblical knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you can, be a suck up. Professors at Eastern are all about networking.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I found her class quitee tough but she's a great professor. She breaks down the story and shows little clips and we do some in class activities to help us understand the bible.

    Course highlights:

I learned the history of the bible and I learned a lot of biblical stories that I was not fully aware of before. I enjoyed the lybrith walk! You'll know once you start the class! its great!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Test are quite difficult. She allows you to use a note card front and back but you still need to study and study hard! Also, read the assigned books because they help with the online quizzes. You may think you don't need to read the bible to pass the class. You do! Good luck :)
