Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great for introducing more science-oriented minds to social concepts and societal ideas.

    Course highlights:

Allowed lots of group work and collaboration. I learned how to delegate and bring together the pieces of a project in the end.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading! While it may seem boring, it's pretty interesting and allows you to participate in your discussion better (which is part of your grade!)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mind is the perfect class for anyone interested in exploring psychology without majoring in it! I've been challenged and awed by the readings we've been given, and the discussions are rich and thought provoking. It's a wonderful class that'll make you think about why we do what we do.

    Course highlights:

Discussions and the readings. Honestly, best decision I could have made for my social sciences requirement -- particularly as someone uninterested in being inundated with dense ancient texts to dissect. I learned about new perspectives and how we view the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours at least once to get to know your TA (who is grading your weekly analysis papers!). When reading, skim and post-reading, dig around more about the reading online to get a few perspectives on the paper/piece.
