    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although I find chemistry fascinating this class is really hard . Your expected to learn at a really fast pace . It's more like you're teaching yourself. If you're more of an independent learner this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

The labs were the most exciting thing about the class because of all the experiments . A majority of this class was based upon molecular bonds and compounds and conversion charts converting moles to atoms using Avogadro's number.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you're familiar with the period table and handy with a calculator aswell you will need it. If you feel yourself falling behind make you you waste no time getting back on track because a lot of the learning you'll do is on an independent level.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because as hard as it is to understand Dr. Chen, he's the most helpful professor I've ever come across. He doesn't mind to say things over a thousand times in a million different ways, just as long as you get the material.

    Course highlights:

I've not only gained the knowledge of first year chemistry, but the knowledge of how difficult it may be to come to a dominantly English University wanting to help students and trying to teach in a way we can comprehend and get an understanding.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Communication is a major key! If talking in front of the class is a problem for you, make a note of your question and save it to ask for after class in private and to ALWAYS write down things that aren't on the power point because they do tend to pop back up.
