    Course Overview:

    Professor Roche has broadened by world view and has allowed me to realize that writing in the real world is not by the book from a rubric.

    Course highlights:

    Roche allows you to direct your learning and does not stick to one form of writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    If she tells you to watch a video, watch it, more often than not its fun or interesting and can really help you with your writing.

    Course Overview:

    The professor tried to connect with students while ensuring students have better insights using English. Her teaching method was attention-grabbing to all of us because of her clear pronunciation and her body language poses.

    Course highlights:

    Not only I have learnt about fundamental 4 skills in English but I also gained massive knowledge that assisted me to overcome every challenges I had encountered during my very first semester. Every lessons learnt throughout the semester is very valuable and useful.

    Advice for students:

    This is a great opportunity to instantly improve yourself. Not only the language skills will be improved but it will also foster your interpersonal skills in order to communicate more effectively.

    The professor was very confusing and was not clear about what he expected both on the class or assignments.

    Course highlights:

    The professor provided a list of websites that were very helpful with grammar, format, editing etc for academic essays.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Keep up with assignments and confirm on assignments with the professor.
