    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While it is a more academically rigorous class I find the Great Books Curriculum, the debates and the intellectual conversations intriguing.

    Course highlights:

We learned what the humanities are, we had discussions and debates based off of articles and stories from Martin Luther King Jr. speeches to the works of Thomas Aquinas, Bertrand Russell and Blaise Pascal as well excerpts from Freud's work and the Communist Manifesto. As with any Great Books course however every year presents a new theme and with it new articles and topics of discussion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a heads start on the work, work on it a bit everyday, read the material often and be prepared for writing papers again.
