Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have mixed feelings. The class overall is fine nothing special i have to take it as a bio major student and also as a core for science requirements . Professor Dodson is a great professor who offers not only office hours, but also study sessions for the exams where you can ask him anything the only problem is that there are only grades given for class participation and exams. there arent quizzes or homework points so you have to be on top of studying for him.

    Course highlights:

highlights were the lab that go along with the lecture class. the labs are fun and engaging and for someone who is a hands on learner like myself they really help reinforce what was discussed in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit toward the front and take through notes.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It recommended for general course studies, however it's a very snooze-inducing class if it's not going to be part of your curriculum for your degree. I highly advise studying extra hard and keep your eyes open!

    Course highlights:

You learned of the general studies of biology, from cells to reproductive biology. No stone was left un-turned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Notes! Take lots and lots of notes! and thoroughly study them!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course lays down the basics of biology which helps when you begin to learn the more complicated topics.

    Course highlights:

The highlight would be at the end when everything you learned ties into one topic of gene expression.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you set timers for assignments because there will be a lot of work to do outside of class with lecture and lab.
