This class was tough.
In this project management course, we had a semester long project where we started a business. It was a very hands-on experience instead of the usual classroom lecture course. It was my first independent project, that gave me the freedom to do what I wanted, and it allowed me to be creative. Dr. Smith was very resistant to walk us through the process and now I see why. She wanted us to learn on our own, which was much more rewarding.
Specifically, in this project we started our own food truck, and decided where we would sell our food, and what we would sell. It was very fun to decide everything on our own; we made our own rules. Instead of being told what to think, we were taught how to think.

Advice for students:
Take it! You will learn so much about the way you work. At the beginning of the course, we took personality tests that analyzed how we work in the workplace based on real-world scenario questions. I didn't realize how truthful a personality survey could be until we dove into our projects, and realized it was spot on. Based on those results, I could capitalize on any problem I had or any difficult decision I needed to make.
