Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was interesting and the instructor held our attention for the duration of the course. He was an excellent teacher, he was funny, and it was so obvious that he cared about the material he was teaching.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different cultures and how they all interact. We were taught about ethnocentrism and tolerance for people who were far different from us. Each chapter of the book had an online portion that would help us to understand further what was going on.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is not anything to lose your head over! Just breathe and relax. If you have a problem, the professor is incredibly approachable and he is a professor that actually helps out when he is approached. Attend class and absolutely do the online Vizi's, as they help out a lot in studying for the tests.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you take socwith Menning, you will learn so much about the society we live in. Rather than lecturing you for an hour, he makes the class into a conversations.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about different societies around the world. He did a very good job teaching us that not everything in the U.S means the same in other countries.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

definitley go to class, he has surprise assignments throughout the semester. For tests, read the chapters and take notes on them and do the study questions at the end of the chapters, they will show up on the tests.
