Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is very discussion based and has a great teacher who is extremely knowledgeable on the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was simply learning how to be a better writer. Writing helps in every aspect of life and I learned how to write professionally in this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is necessary to stay on top of your assignments and not procrastinate or you will become overwhelmed. Make sure to always proof read your papers for simple mistakes and find someone else to give you a second opinion as well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a required course so it is not only me recommending this course. Although you have to take it you are able to choose your professor. Dr. Huisman is a great man and professor and I highly recommend requesting him when it comes to composing your schedule.

    Course highlights:

In this course you learn writing and rhetoric. You read a book together as a class and write an essay over it. You also write a personal narrative and a persuasive essay. Your final exam is a multimodal project which you have nearly a month to work on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen and take notes over the course. It is important to keep track of deadlines and to do all of the assignments. There are not many so they are worth a lot of points.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it reviews the importance of many writing techniques that are commonly forgotten and it prepares us for the writing that will be used most commonly throughout our college career.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the multimodel project where we had a pick a group, come up with a product, sell it, and analyze our selling technique. I learned how to edit and shoot a professional video .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To pay close attention in class and read the reading so the pop up quizzes will not be hard.
